These K-6 technology-integrated units were developed for use by Kent School District teachers. They were designed as a way of providing teachers completed units directly correlated with current KSD curriculum. Many units also have extensions and are appropriate for those teachers already using technology in their classrooms. Each unit focuses on a curriculum topic combined with technology that meets the KSD technology standards at that grade level.

Highlighting the exemplary work of students has been the goal of the California Department of Education (CDE) since it began the Student Technology Showcase in 2001. The CTAP (California Technology Assistance Program) regional offices coordinate the submission of applications from students and teachers and ensure that each includes the California content standards that are advanced in the project.
